Welcome to Acuerpándonos

My name is Wendy Cordero Rugama, and I am a Costa Rican theology student living in Chicago.

I have many questions and very few answers, so theology seemed like the right field for me. I am both captivated by the beauty of the multiplicity of expressions of the Christian faith and horrified by the corruption of Christianity for the sake of power and oppression. So, I continue to ask questions because the beauty I have seen haunts my imagination and keeps me awake at night. I envision a Church that truly acts as a healthy body, and I think that is found in lo cotidiano - the mundane aspects of life where the Spirit continues to create out of the chaos in our midst.
